Bob Leatherbarrow is a Los Angeles-based drummer and percussionist whose playing and writing can be heard on numerous TV and film soundtracks, as well as his work with Grammy Award-winning artists such as Nelly Furtado, Bette Midler, and Dolly Parton.

From his snare drum work on the iconic opening of the 20 Century Fox fanfare to his intricate mallet, timpani, orchestral percussion, and drum set performances on The Simpsons, Family Guy, Seinfeld, and Parks & Recreation (to name a few)—you’ve been listening to his musicality for over 20 years without even knowing it.

Because of his extensive jazz vibraphone and set drumming expertise, Bob brings a special sensitivity to the very emotive underscoring he composed along with E3 Music Productions. Their musical additions to the Knights of Swing soundtrack propel the narrative forward with subtle aplomb, never overreaching, and beautifully supportive.
